Rebecca Catalanotto, Regional Executive Director
Rebecca has over 20 years of progressive health care experience, with her focus on management, leadership and working with the senior population. Rebecca served as the Director of Health Services at The Village for five years, overseeing all assisted living services, The Village Vitality Program, the private duty home care program and the entire Health Services staff. In her role as Regional Executive Director, Rebecca has overall responsibility and accountability for strategic, operational and financial performance of The Village. Rebecca is accountable for providing exemplary executive leadership, planning and directing the overall on-going operations of the community in accordance with the Values, Vision and Mission of The Village.
Before joining The Village, Rebecca served for 12 years as director of North Florida Regional Medical Center’s senior health care centers, working to enhance primary care services to seniors in Gainesville, Starke and Melrose.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and a Master of Health Science degree, both from the University of Florida.

Kim Giberti, Associate Executive Director & Senior Director of Health Services
Kim has more than 25 years of experience in nursing and health care management. She served as the Jasmine Pointe Assisted Living Manager for over four years prior to her current position as the Associate Executive Director & Senior Director of Health Services. In her current role she has overall responsibility and accountability for The Village Vitality Program, The Village Private Duty Home Care Program and the assisted living and memory support neighborhoods. Kim has a passion for senior living as well as a dedication to ensure The Village provides exceptional and quality care in all aspects of Health Services provided within the community.
Before coming to The Village, Kim served for 12 years as the Director of Clinical Services at The Cardiac and Vascular Institute working to improve cardiac services brought to the Gainesville, Starke and Lake City areas.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Florida.
Loretta Neal, Senior Director, HR Business Partner
Loretta has more than 25 years of experience in human resource management. She joined The Village in 2014 to lead the organization’s human resources department. In her current role, she is responsible for managing an HR team that executes daily human resource functions, but her primary focus is the implementation of human capital strategies to ensure The Village at Gainesville has an exemplary, servant-focused leadership team that can bring together the best associates to provide the high-quality care and services our residents expect.
Before coming to The Village, Loretta served in various progressing executive HR leadership roles in retail, customer service, e-commerce and fulfillment, which included eight years at Chico’s FAS, Inc.; and 13 years at Nexpak, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi, where she focused on building a company culture that cultivated high-performing, customer-centric teams.
Loretta earned SPHR® (Senior Professional in Human Resources®) certification in 2005 by the HRCI Institute, which demonstrates mastery of strategic and policy-making aspects of HR management. In addition, she received her certification as an SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) by the Society of Human Resource Professionals in 2016.

Josh Fuller, Director of Facilities
Josh has over 15 years of real estate and facility management experience with a background in real estate sales and management of large hospitality and religious properties. In his role as Facilities Manager, Josh oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the entire Village campus made up of one million square-feet throughout 60 buildings on the 104-acre campus. In addition, Josh is responsible for all facility-related capital improvements, long-range facility planning, campus safety and emergency procedures. He also serves on the SantaFe Senior Living Safety Committee.
Josh is a Gainesville native with deep roots in the community. He has served on the board of directors for Gainesville Harvest as well as Bread of the Mighty Food Bank. He has a passion for keeping the campus in top shape and creating environments to enhance the resident experience.
Tasha Penny, Director of Resident Services
The Environmental Services team and Tasha are responsible for providing a clean and welcoming home to The Village’s current and future community members. The community provides daily housekeeping, carpet cleaning and laundry services along with a variety of special services by resident request.
Tasha received a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Florida State University. Professionally, she spent 10 years in various leadership roles within the YMCA. A few years ago, she began working in Environmental Services at North Florida Regional Medical Center and has since worked in three other hospitals, including UF Health. She is a hands-on manager and works closely with her team.
Rebecca Brown, Director of Wellness & Community Life
Rebecca has more than 15 years of experience in Healthcare, Case Management and Leadership. Rebecca started her career as a Case Manager at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. She transferred to North Florida Regional Medical Center in 2005 and was a case manager until 2011 when she was promoted to Assistant Director of Case Management. Rebecca was the Assistant Director of Case Management for 7 years, from 2011-2018. As a case manager, Rebecca focused on discharge planning, utilization review, and care coordination for her patients.
Rebecca has a passion for helping others and is very excited to be joining The Village as the Vitality Manger.
Rebecca has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Social Work from Florida State University.
Vickie Rodenwoldt, Director of Assisted Living & MS
As Director of Assisted Living, Vickie has more than 20 years of nursing experience in both clinical and management roles. She served as Assisted Living Manager for over five years prior to her current position. She oversees all Assisted Living neighborhoods by providing leadership and oversight of all clinical operations and strategic planning.
Before coming to The Village, Vickie served as a nurse for Senior Health Care centers and North Florida Regional Medical Center for 10 years. She has a passion for building relationships and providing quality services for our residents.

Tom Hammond, Director of Innovation and Technology
As Senior Director of Operations, Tom provides leadership and oversight of company business operations including strategic planning; financial and budgetary management; leadership succession and training; and safety compliance. He has more than 20 years of IT and business management experience, including management roles with the Department of Transportation as a member of the technology research and development team and senior support, and with the Levy County School Board as a network engineer.
He is a graduate of Santa Fe College Computer Science Program and holds several high-level IT certifications, as well as a Mini-MBA Certificate from Boston University.
