Our Signature amenity is delicious dining.

We believe every dining experience you have with us should deliver on taste, flavor and quality. That’s why we created our exclusive Signature Series, a dining program found exclusively at The Village at Gainesville. It’s based partly on helpful resident input from our Resident Food Committee, which acts as a liaison between residents and our Dining Services.

Our menus are changed weekly, and feature 5 entrée choices and 4 sides for both lunch and dinner. Daily Menu items include daily soup selection, a chef-inspired heart-healthy entrée, and 3 vegetable side dishes. And residents with specific dietary needs can request their dishes be prepared to accommodate their requirements.

Residents can dine at any of our 3 venues that include upscale dining, formal dining, and casual dining in our Seasons restaurant, Traditions restaurant or our Palm Court Café. The Tower Club is home to our fine-dining restaurants and The Palm Court Café, which offers more casual fare, like sandwiches and burgers. The Tower Club also offers wines and spirits at our Back 9 Lounge.

What’s more, our flexible dining plan lets you use your monthly allotment of meals any way you like, in any of our 3 venues. You can use your allotment on guest meals, and purchase additional meals as you need them.

Meet our chefs

Cameron Walton
Executive Chef
Chef Walton, a Gainesville native, attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale, Arizona. He brings more than 25 years of culinary experience to The Village; prior to joining our staff, he spent 8 years working for the PGA Tour in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Luke Harbach
Sous Chef
Luke has been part of The Village’s culinary team for 5 years, but he’s worked in the culinary arts field for more than 20 years. Born in Illinois, Luke began his culinary career in his parents’ catering business. He relocated to Florida when he was 18 and has worked in various food service operations, including on The University of Florida campus.

Charles Hahn
Sous Chef
This South Carolina native brings more than 20 years’ experience to The Village. He worked for a master pastry chef for more than 7 years, refining his baking skills. He was also a grill chef at a 4-star, 5-diamond establishment, and spent time as a corporate trainer for a well-known chain of restaurants.
