At The Village, we’re continually soliciting residents’ opinions so that we can improve their retirement experience in every way — and that certainly extends to our dining services. We conducted a residents’ focus group to learn what they want and expect from our dining services. Their valuable feedback led to the creation of our Signature Series dining.
This enhanced dining program offers residents an expanded menu and completely new look. Special Village Favorites dishes rotate on the menu every two weeks. Daily Menu items include daily soup selections, a chef-inspired and a heart-healthy entrée, and three changing vegetable accompaniments.
Heart-healthy menu items offer less sodium and cholesterol, without skimping on taste and flavor. And residents with specific dietary requirements can now request daily menu items be prepared plain, with sauces on the side, or without salt or butter.
And our newly formed Resident Food Committee helps enhance the dining experience by acting as a liaison between residents and our Dining Services.
Signature Series. It’s just one more example of better living, by design. Only at The Village.
